NAC Statement on the Passing of David Blee

NAC says goodbye to Mr. David Blee, former NAC Executive Vice President, who passed away suddenly on December 29, 2019. Our thoughts are with his family on their loss. David will be missed for his outstanding contributions to the nuclear energy sector. He is especially remembered for his leadership in deploying NAC-designed spent fuel storage and transport systems at decommissioning U.S. nuclear utility sites, and for advancing NAC’s consulting and transportation services. Among his many accomplishments, David ably served the U.S. nuclear industry as founder, president and chief executive officer of the United States Nuclear Industry Council (USNIC).
