Peachtree Corners, GA – NAC International Inc. (NAC) and Paragon D&E (Paragon) announce the signing of a strategic teaming agreement to develop, license, market, produce, and deliver nuclear packagings for various government and commercial entities. The teaming agreement enables the companies to offer a broader array of nuclear materials transportation packaging solutions to the nuclear industry.

Paragon and NAC, with their diverse and complementary capabilities, are now teamed to deliver safe and secure transportation packaging solutions to cover the full spectrum of nuclear industry needs, from shipping medical radioisotopes and fresh High-Assay Low-Enriched Uranium (HALEU) fuel for advanced reactors to transporting spent nuclear fuel, high-level and low-level wastes, and other irradiated materials.

Paragon brings expertise in the design and integrated fabrication of a versatile portfolio of Type A and Type AF drum packagings, while NAC has a decades-long history in the design, licensing, delivery, and operation of larger Type B packagings.

“We are pleased to announce this strategic teaming agreement with Paragon on nuclear packagings,” said Kent Cole, NAC President and CEO. “This collaboration brings together two industry leaders to deliver unmatched combined capabilities for nuclear transportation packaging solutions.”

“As next-generation nuclear energy technology goes mainstream, Paragon and NAC are now positioned to provide a more comprehensive range of service offerings for the entire fuel cycle,” said David Muir, President of Paragon D&E. “Our strategic teaming agreement will enable simplified and streamlined nuclear packaging and transportation services for our customers.”
