NAC International Names Michael McMahon Vice President of Consulting

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA – NAC International has named Michael McMahon as Vice President of Consulting to head the company’s nuclear fuel cycle consulting business unit.
Kent Cole, CEO of NAC International, said: “We are pleased that Michael McMahon has joined NAC International to lead the company’s consulting business. He brings with him significant leadership experience as well as an extensive background in nuclear energy and the nuclear fuel cycle, including used fuel transportation, storage, and disposal solutions.”
McMahon joins NAC International from EXCEL Services Corporation, where he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development. Prior to joining EXCEL, McMahon worked at AREVA for more than 17 years including as President and CEO of Transnuclear Inc. (now ORANO TN USA). Before joining AREVA, he worked as an Associate for the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company and served as an officer in the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program.
McMahon is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering. He also received a doctorate in nuclear engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
