NAC Reporter

Secure, Adaptable and Efficient System for Tracking Nuclear Materials

Nuclear Accounting and Compliance Reporter (NAC Reporter®) is a web-based software system that assists governments and nuclear facilities with Nuclear Material Control & Accountability (MC&A) reporting requirements.

NAC Reporter is designed for ease of use and captures nuclear material accounting activities at a facility or national level. The system processes inputted information to ensure reporting compliance with applicable regulations, laws and policies governing the use and handling of nuclear materials. Three versions of NAC Reporter are currently available.

U.S. Facility Version

NAC Reporter U.S. Facility Version is designed to assist U.S. facilities reporting their nuclear material accounting activities electronically to the U.S. Nuclear Materials Management & Safeguards System (NMMSS) and comply with NRC and DOE requirements. NAC customers have used NAC Reporter as their on-site materials accountability system. The software tracks and reports Transaction, Inventory, Material Balance and Obligation information at the facility.

State NAC Reporter

State NAC Reporter is a customizable State System of Accounting for and Control of Nuclear Material (SSAC) system nuclear accounting software tool for governments with a nuclear program. State NAC Reporter improves reporting, tracking and monitoring of nuclear material activities within the country.

NAC International developed this software based on the experience gained in operating the U.S. SSAC system for 15 years. The software was developed based on the reporting requirements outlined in both the Labeled Model Code 10 of Subsidiary Arrangement SG-FM-1172 and Fixed Model Code 10 of Subsidiary Arrangement SG-FM-1171.

State NAC Reporter is designed with unique features for accepting, processing and reporting nuclear activities within a country. The basic software version has been built on top of an expandable and flexible foundation which makes it easy to upgrade to meet a country’s specific data and functional requirements.

State NAC Reporter accepts data from facilities; validates submitted data against laws, regulations, a country’s reporting procedures/policies and IAEA guidelines; and reports to various governmental entities. The basic version currently tracks and processes Inventory Change Reports, Material Balance Reports, Physical Inventory Listings, transfers between Location Outside Facility (LOFs) and Obligation data. The software can be customized to accept and track additional data points where required.
