NAC International has recently made changes to the management team responsible for conducting the company’s Transportation Projects throughout the world.

Effective July 1, 2024, Jeff England takes on a new role as Director of Transportation Special Projects and Business Development, reporting to Dr. Mike McMahon, NAC Vice President of Transportation and Strategic Projects. Jeff will also transition to a part-time work schedule in August 2024 in anticipation of his planned retirement at the end of the year.

Since joining NAC in 2018, Jeff has played a key role in driving the growth of the Transportation Projects business unit and expanding its capabilities into new areas. Jeff will continue with customer interface, industry engagement, and business unit support activities throughout 2024.

Also, effective July 1, 2024, Mike Valenzano was promoted to Director of Transportation Projects, reporting directly to Mike McMahon. Mike Valenzano's extensive experience in the packaging and transportation of radioactive and nuclear materials, including used nuclear fuel, conducted throughout the world, provides a valuable background for serving NAC’s clients and partners. The Project Managers and Project Engineers in NAC’s Transportation Projects business unit report to Mike Valenzano.

“We are grateful to Jeff for his many contributions and dedication throughout his time at NAC, and we are fortunate to have his continued guidance and expertise during this transition,” said Mike McMahon. “We are excited to have Mike Valenzano in this leadership role and look forward to continued growth and success for NAC’s Transportation Projects business.”
