NAC International successfully relaunched its Spent Fuel Academy training seminar from February 4-6, 2020. This unique educational training course had its last run in 2011. The revised course had 18 participants from three U.S. nuclear utilities, two National Laboratories, and international participants from Germany and the United Kingdom.

In partnership with the U.S. Nuclear Industry Council (NIC), the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) will present the 35^thSpent Fuel Management Seminar at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town in Alexandria, Va., January 28-30, 2020. Jeff England, NAC Director of Transportation and Packaging Solutions, will welcome attendees in opening remarks in his role as the Chair of the INMM Packaging, Transportation, and Disposition Technical Division.

NAC International participated as a sponsoring member of the U.S. Industry Program (USIP) held in concurrence with the 63rd IAEA General Conference, in Vienna from Sept. 15-19, 2019. The International Trade Administration and the U.S. Commercial Service in Austria facilitated this event and offered NAC and the U.S. Industry delegation an opportunity to showcase capabilities and services to conference participants. It also helped to promote U.S. leadership and experience in the development of advance reactor technologies.
